Grizzlies Predators Betting Odds

Sports betting in the state of Tennessee continues to heat up, and the month of September should bring some tremendous results.

The Tennessee Titans are the most popular team throughout the state, and they remain a famous betting market with sports bettors.

The month of October will also see two other professional sports teams in Tennessee begin their seasons as the Memphis Grizzlies and Nashville Predators are gearing up for the regular season. Both teams have plenty of local fan support, but each will draw plenty of bets throughout the state.

Even though the real games won’t begin until next month, now is still a great time to begin betting on each team. Sportsbooks in Tennessee have already announced future betting odds for each team, and bets have started to pour in.

Here is a quick look at the updated future betting odds for Tennessee’s NBA and NHL teams.

Grizzlies, a Player in Southwest Division

The Memphis Grizzlies advanced to the NBA Playoffs a season ago after beating the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament. That has expectations high surrounding this team, but the Grizzlies still have work to do in a loaded Western Conference.

The first goal for the Memphis Grizzlies is to win the Southwest Division, but that might be a pretty big challenge. The Dallas Mavericks are the favorites to win that division, and they are listed at -210 at most sportsbooks throughout the state as well.

Memphis is next on the list at +440, but that’s a long way away from Dallas. The Grizzlies have an up-and-coming team, led by Ja Morant, but they still have some serious work.

The Grizzlies currently have odds set at +4900 with DraftKings to win the Western Conference, which doesn’t give them much of a chance. The only way that this season would be viewed as a failure is if Memphis somehow doesn’t reach the postseason.

The over/under for regular-season wins for Memphis this season is set at 40.5, which would put them right at the .500 mark. It will take a better season than that to be a playoff team in the Western Conference.

Predators in Loaded Division

The National Hockey League will go back to its traditional divisions this season, which might not be good news for the Nashville Predators. The Central Division is arguably one of the toughest in the entire National Hockey League.

Nashville currently has odds set at +4100 to win the Central Division, and there is just one team worse than that. The Predators have been extremely competitive in recent seasons, but sportsbooks in the state believe that some other teams have passed them up.

The Colorado Avalanche is currently the betting favorite to win the Central at -220, and they are also the top pick to win the Stanley Cup. Nashville will still be a huge betting market in the state of Tennessee, but a disappointing season could turn some bettors away.
