WynnBET Gets Conditional Approval
The Tennessee sports betting market is already off to a huge start, but things are expected to get even better in the coming months.
At least three new operators have received temporary licenses, and WynnBET was recently conditionally approved to offer sports betting.
There are currently just four online sportsbooks in Tennessee: Action 24/7, BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel. WynnBET is expected to be the fifth TN online sports betting option, and it won’t take long for this sportsbook to become a popular option.
WynnBET is the sports betting arm of Wynn Resorts, and it is looking to expand throughout the United States. Tennessee was an obvious choice based on the great start and rapid growth that is expected in the Volunteer State.
To break into the sports betting industry, Wynn Resorts partnered with BetBull to power sports betting. BetBull is an international company that works to get online sportsbooks up and running and helps maintain the sportsbook.
At this time, WynnBET is live in just three states, but that number could be pushed closer to 10 by the time 2021 ends. New Jersey and Colorado saw the first two WynnBET sportsbooks, but the site just recently launched in the state of Michigan.
To go live in Tennessee, WynnBET will still need to meet some additional requirements before it is launched for a test run. After a successful test, WynnBET will be able to take new customers, but there is no official launch date set.
WynnBET is also targeting the state of Virginia at this time, and a launch in that state could come just weeks after going live in Tennessee. There is some pretty good competition already in Tennessee, but WynnBET is expected to hold its own.
Already Forming Partnerships
Before WynnBET has even taken a legal wager in the state of Tennessee, it has already made a huge move by agreeing to a multi-year partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies. This deal will help WynnBET get off to a strong start in Tennessee, and bettors should see a number of promotions surrounding the popular NBA team.
This is a marketing collaboration, with the major focus coming on the digital side of things. WynnBET and the Memphis Grizzlies will look to go above and beyond current sports betting partnerships with an emphasis on the customer experience.
These two companies will work together to create ad campaigns that can be seen on most digital platforms, and social media content will be routinely produced. There will also be a new WynnBet sports betting lounge established at the arena and unique game day experiences for fans.
This is just another small step for WynnBET as it looks to become one of the biggest online gambling companies in the US. Recently, the company was able to form a partnership with NASCAR to become an Authorized Gaming Operator.
WynnBET was able to take that partnership a step further by becoming the official online sports betting provider of the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway in Virginia. Virginia is another state that just recently launched online sports betting.
As well as WynBett, William Hill sportsbook is set to launch in Tennessee very soon as well.
